A three-section backcountry pole ideal for those who need to put their poles in their packs frequently (we're looking at you splitboarders, ski flyers, and ski mountaineers), the Black Crows Trios Freebird Ski Poles feature a hybrid carbon and aluminum construction with the bottom segment in aluminum to lessen the chance of shattering. A rock solid Power Lock 3.0 mechanism keeps the sections in place and allows fast and easy lengthening or shortening. An anodized aluminum top cap and tungsten carbide pointy end protect the pole at either end.
